About Dr. John Raju

John Raju is a Co-Founder and CEO of Shop and Carry Pharmacy. John is a licensed pharmacist with more than 18 years of experience in his field.

He started his career as a pharmacy technician and with hard work and dedication, became an intern, staff pharmacist, pharmacy manager, and eventually a pharmacy owner. John grew up in the Olney section of Philadelphia during his elementary school days and then moved to Northeast Philadelphia where he lived most of his life.

Over the course of the last few years, John partnered with some of the largest non-profit organizations and now serves over 2500 patients, most of whom suffer from drug & alcohol dependency, psychiatric disorders or HIV/ AIDS. As the CEO of Appraised LLC, John is responsible for planning, organizing, staffing, motivating, directing, and managing. He also oversees the activities of the SAC Foundation, a charitable fund established to assist financially distressed, uninsured or underinsured patients with medication affordability.

John attended The University of the Sciences starting in 2000 and graduated with a Doctor of Pharmacy in 2006.
